Charlotte Stemmans Clavier, President of Stemmans Inc., Administrator for the Sale, stated “Despite a scheduling conflict and a different starting time this year, 10:00 am compared to Noon in prior years, we averaged more than $10,619.00, a solid increase from last year’s total of $9,151.00. Although we sold 172 two-year-olds compared to 192 in 2007, our catalog was of the highest quality in the six year history of the sale as we continue our goal to offer horsemen and consignors a place to buy and sell quality racehorses.” For more information contact Evangeline Downs at 337-594-3000. |
